Men’s Retreat 2024

Men of all ages are invited to join for the Men of Bethel’s annual Fall retreat at The Heartland Conference and Retreat Center in Marengo (an easy 45 min drive from the church). This yearly overnight retreat is designed to encourage men to grow in their faith and relationship with Jesus.

What is the basic schedule?
We’ll meet at the church on Friday at 5:45 pm, and caravan together to the retreat center, followed by dinner there. On Saturday, we’ll start the day with 7:00 am worship, breakfast at 8:00 am, and then the our main session will start at 9:00 am. We’ll enjoy lunch, discussion, and learning together and end our time at 3:00 pm.
What will we be studying and discussing during the retreat?
This year, we’ll be exploring how to follow Jesus in our busy, distracted, and increasingly secular culture through “The Practicing the Way” Course. Our goal for this weekend is for us to learn how to live as an apprentice of Jesus: to be with Jesus, become like Him, and do as He did.
What is the cost?
There are two options:
- Full Retreat: $70 which will cover all your meals (friday dinner and saturday breakfast & lunch) as well as your overnight accomodations.
- Only Saturday: $30 which will cover breakfast and lunch on Saturday.
What are the sleeping arrangements?
Overnight accommodations are hotel style, with 2 queen bedrooms which will comfortably accommodate two people per room.
If I’m only coming on Saturday, what time do I need to be there?
We’ll have worship at 7:00 am, breakfast at 8:00 am and the meeting will start at 9:00.
